Okay. I know this is silly. I know people are probably shaking their heads at my indignance at such a goofy thing. It's only a Chia Pet.
But I'm sorry. There are three Presidents made into Chia Pets, and they are Washington, Lincoln and Obama??? How they can even mention those three men in the same sentence is beyond my realm of comprehension.
George Washington: fearless leader. Considered the Father of America. Unanimously chosen as both Commander-in-Chief of the Army as well as President of the United States. King George III of England remarked he was "the greatest character of the age." (libertykids.com)
Abraham Lincoln: considered by some to be the best president of all. Ended slavery. Was known as "Honest Abe." Said, "With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow and his orphan - to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations."
Barak Obama: Supports Iran over Israel. Supports illegal immigrants over Americans. Bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia. Considered worst president of all time by many, even worse than Jimmy Carter. Supports Islam over Christianity. In just 2 years of his presidency, unemployment went up 2.1 percent. The national debt went from $10 trillion to $12 trillion.
Obama has: "allowed the Russians to sponsor an uprising in Kyrgyzstan that resulted in the removal of a U.S. airbase. He has lent legitimacy to an Islamist Turkish government and sold American debt to a communist Chinese government that supports North Korea." (www.townhall.com)
Now I know it may just be a Chia Pet. I know Chia Pets have been made fun of and are notorious white elephant gifts. But even the mere mention of Obama in the same breath as two of the greatest men of all time...well I just couldn't handle that.
The only thing an Obama Chia Pet would be good for is target practice.
