The Gog/Magog War Part Two

The Bible gives us reasons as to why Israel would be invaded in the end times. Continuing to study Ezekiel 38, we see that the first reason for the invasion is a desire by the group of countries against Israel (Islam) is to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth. Hmmm...I seem to recall another group who tried to do that. Oh, yes. The Nazi's. So in this respect, is it fair to say that Islam and Hitler have much in common? I vote yes. Since Islam is Muslim, and the President is Muslim ,could we then compare the President to Hitler in an objective way? Again, I say yes. (Hitler gave good speeches too.)

So how do we see this coming true as we live and breathe? Well, Egypt has resumed commercial air traffic to Iran. This had been cut off since 1979 during the Iranian Revolution. According to Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, Egypt is "looking at the situation and doesn't have confidence that Iran will be stopped. They are hedging their bets, and this is the first step." (From the Jerusalem Post via www.prophesynewswatch.com).

In other words, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

According to Jennifer Rast from Contender Ministries, "This invasion of Israel and attack on the Jewish people will indeed be a Jihad, but it will also be the final Jihad." (www.contenderministries.org)

In Ezekiel 38:13 we read, "Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?"

The Qu'ran is full of references to plundering and pilfering for the good of Islam. Sheba and Dedan are ancient names for modern Saudi Arabia. Tarshish is thought to refer to Spain, and "all her villages" may refer to Western Europe. These countries may offer protest in support of Israel, but we already know what happens.

"A similar alliance has been seen once before during the Gulf War of the early 1990's. The U.S., Western Europe, and Saudi Arabia were aligned against Iraq, while Russia, Iran, Sudan, Libya, and most other Middle Eastern nations either aligned with Iraq, or against the U.S. either by directly opposing it, or by remaining neutral." -Jennifer Rast, Contender Ministries

In my opinion, Iran is the place to watch. President Ahmadinejad is just plain scary. (Of course, we need not be fearful because we have the end of the story, and WE WIN!) If I ever had to put a face on the devil, his would be it.

Hoenlein says, "Ahmdinejad's Lebanon visit was a "game changer" because it gave Iran a foothold in the Mediterranean, something it had sought and failed to achieve for centuries. This, along with Teheran's ties with Syria and Gaza, the infrastructure it is building in Iraq...is all bringing home to many the reality of Iran's drive for regional dominance."

Iran will be the ringleader, I believe. All of Islam will follow, the final Jihad will take place, and the God of Heaven and Earth will show Himself. The book of Ezekiel repeats at least 60 times that the reason for all of this is so that "they will know that I am Lord."

Indeed!
